Pictured is Gemma’s brioche french toast with a berry compote and mascarpone. The brioche wasn’t overly french toasty and was perfect for dipping into the berry compote.
Grab a side of Gemma’s super fresh applewood smoked bacon to get your meat in.
Try to get the tall bald waiter with zero facial expression. For some reason you will end up spending the meal, and your money, trying to win his affection.
Finally got to Freemans for brunch. Apart from the food, the best part was the staring contests with the taxidermied game on the walls. Perhaps the work of Chuck Testa?
Pictured are cheddar grits with poached eggs and a roasted tomato. Include a little bit of each in every forkful for the ultimate experience. When you’re left with yolky slop, scoop it all up with your toast to join the clean plate club. Then chug the rest of your cocktail and join the I’m buzzed at 11am club. Both clubs are fun.
On your way out stop by the Freemans Sporting Club for a bespoke haircut or a locally made $1,680.00 peacoat.

Burger at Zaitzeff - Lower East Side, #NYC
Zaitzeff has a simple menu with delicious and very reasonably priced burgers. The lighting is perfect with good music in the background. A great spot to head to before an aggressive night out.
The portions are just right so you’ll have plenty of room for beer.
