I’m ashamed it took me so long to hit up Parm. I’m not even going to continue writing this post…

Haha just kidding. Parm is bliss. The meatball sandwich on a roll is one of the best sandwiches in the world especially if paired with a cold draught. Not pictured are the poppers off the appetizer menu. They’re a nostalgic taste and ideal for pre-sandwich munching or burning your tongue on.

Parm is a super popular spot so unless you’re coming during an off hour, it’s wise to place a pick up order. 

Corn and Shrimp Tacos at Cafe Habana in Nolita, NYC

Tucked away in Nolita, Cafe Habana is a tiny spot with a heavy crowd of loyal patrons. The food is extremely fresh and delicious on so many levels.

Make sure to order Cafe Habana’s famed grilled corn to munch on and get in your teeth pre-entree. The pictured shrimp tacos have a delicious citrus zest to them and pair perfectly with an ice cold michelada. Don’t ignore the rice and beans on the side. You’ll regret it and look ungrateful. Do you know how many other spoiled New Yorkers are living without Cafe Habana’s rice and beans? 

Next door to the Nolita eat in location, you’ll find Cafe Habana’s take out only spot. So considerate they are. 

Pappardelle Pasta in a Venison Ragu at Emporio in #Nolita, #NYC

On the outside, Emporio appears as a tiny restaurant that probably doesn’t have room for you. Au contraire. Tonight is your night.

Chances are that the host will lead you past the kitchen into a dimly lit rear room where you will dine over candlelight and mellow music. 

Above is a pasta special that tastes much better than the picture portrays. The pomegranate seeds add a burst of tanginess to the dish that plays well with a glass of red.

Calves Liver at Oficina Latina in #Nolita, #NYC

Felt adventurous so decided to try calves liver just to do it. It’s definitely an acquired taste.

Otherwise, Oficina Latina is a great spot with an extensive and very fairly priced menu. 

Enchiladas + Eggs at Pulino’s Pizzeria & Bar in #Nolita, #NYC

Pulino’s is perfect for a group looking to grab a few glasses of Rose and delicious eats.

The pictured dish is ideal. Also tried was the spinach and egg pizza, steak and eggs and various versions of the bloody mary.
